Varietal: Caturra, Castillo
Notes: Honey/ Caramel, Fruity and Chocolate with Jasmine aromas
Farmer: Ricardo Castilla
Region: Santuario, Risaralda
Ricardo’s coffee background isn´t the usual story you would find in Colombia. A mechanical engineer by profession, Ricardo decided to move to the countryside in Santuario, Risaralda and grow coffee as his passion. From the beginning he wanted to differentiate his coffee through quality and implemented protocols in harvesting, picking, fermentation and drying. This led him to win the best coffee in Risaralda in 2014 and he hasn’t looked back since then. This coffee is proof of that, scoring a smashing 86 points.
Montes del Tatama
This coffee is one you want to sit down and enjoy. It has complex notes built up through the drying process and brings together honey, caramel, fruity and chocolatey notes with a crisp floral aroma of Jasmines. Definitely the one for special moments.
